Director of American Jazz Dance Company, non-profit, nationally recognized dance troupe. She has 40+ years experience in our community as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer in all styles: ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap. Many of her students made dance a career: THE MUPPET MOVIE/screen productions; back-up dancers for Janet Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, and other artists; Rockettes; Dallas Cowboy / Houston Texan Cheerleaders; Disney parks; cruise lines. Winner of many choreography awards: Dance Olympus, Showstoppers, Tremaine, LA Underground, LA DanceMagic, LA Dance Force, New York City Dance Alliance, Jump, NUVO, and more. To her credit: Walt Disney’s “Donald Duck’s Birthday Celebration” in Houston, Galveston Festival on The Strand, Houston Festival, Woodlands Renaissance Festivities, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and numerous Klein HS Dramas. She led AJDC locally in 3 years of Walt Disney’s “Mickey’s Magical Gatherings”. Member of: American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Education, Aerobic & Fitness Association of America and CEC certified instructor. Mother of two and grandmother of one.
